I am back. Here is an email.

Well today is October 4. But you knew that. What you didn't know:
two days until Come And Take It Day. Do your worst.

I have nothing to say today. My mind is a blank. I think maybe some
of my vital connections have become disconnected. I want to go to
bed. Either that or else quit my job and travel around the country in
a van. That would perk me right up. I think it is at times like this
when the saying, "Excess on occasion is exhilarating. It prevents
moderation from acquiring the deadening effect of a habit." fits.

"Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege."

My brother is playing one of my University Chorale songs from winter
semester. It's a good one. It was written in Germany in the 1600s.
It has a lot of tension and angst, but then at the end it resolves and
there is a "triumphant chorus" to the end.
