Juggernaut of the late 1980s
A lot of good can come of discovering a large continent. Just ask the
Vikings who got there first and didn't do a darn thing about it. I
bet they're wishing they'd kept their stock in Newfoundland, eh?
Today is Paul Simon's birthday. Kool Oldies 104.3 did a special Paul
Simon tribute. Unfortunately, they only played his songs that were
accompanied by Art Garfunkel. Those are great songs, I'll have you
know, but I was really wishing they had played something like "You Can
Call Me Al", or "Diamonds in the Soles of Her Shoes" or something.
Maybe "Me and Julio Down By the Schoolyard." I like that guy when he
was on his own.
Ha, I'm talking to this guy online that I haven't talked to in a long
time. He's David. He's absolutely insane, but dang funny. Some of
you know him, and some of you know his quite well indeed. The
Canadian and Austin know him better than I do, having spent more time
around him at school. One time David and I made up a song about Lewis
and Clark. Sung to the tune of "Lola" which is the most messed up
song on the planet. Seriously. Not even "Fish Heads" comes close.
"If I had 60 cents for every time I had a dollar, I'd be Canada!"
If you haven't heard that song by They Might Be Giants about the sun,
you need to listen to it as soon as possible. If you have iTunes,
look around for it, someone's bound to have it on their computer. And
if you can't find the right one, they're all good, so have some fun
with TMBG. They rock.
Ok, I need to be wrapping this up. I hope you enjoyed today's
message. It has been sponsored by the letter S, the number 4, and
viewers like you.

Great blog you have here but I was curious if you knew of any discussion boards that cover
the same topics talked about here? I'd really like to be a part of group where I can get responses from other experienced people that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Bless you!
